Be it a desk for a private office, a table for a boardroom or a long work bench in an open plan space, Omega is defined by its polished dye cast solid aluminium legs, solid stainless steel fittings, milled handles and a choice of 30mm surfaces from FSC certified timbers, custom veneered over a 100% post-consumer recycled cardboard core.
Strength And Beauty
Although the substructure is delicately poised, it is underpinned with a strong beam allowing very long tables with uninterrupted spans between legs to be created. Solid dye cast aluminium legs are utilised for the Omega system as our material of choice.
D-form Geometry
Developed by Wills Watson & Associates the patented D-form geometry is used to create an edge detail to worksufaces unique to Omega.
“A D-Form consists of 2d shapes cut from a non-elastic material (e.g. Paper). The two shapes must have identical perimeter lengths. The 3d form is created by choosing a point on each perimeter for an initial join, the remainder of the perimeters are subsequently joined together. In general, a different 3d shape will resort from different joining points. Folds may be introduced only if necessary. D-Forms are not restricted to convex lines, however concave outlines often lead to intersecting surfaces and are thus hard to build physically.”

Solid dye cast aluminium legs are utilised for the Omega system as our material of choice. Aluminium never degrades, so it can be recycled continuously. It comes at a premium when scrapped and therefore, when necessary, our product will almost always surely be recycled. It costs a little more, however, we believe that Omega is better for it.
